Raymond Dean (1951-54) says
"Attached are two photographs and two signature pages, one from the reverse of the Class 4S photo, & the other from a diary page which I have kept. Eddie Powner is not in the SCTS Class 4S photo but his signature is there. We were at the school when it changed from the Junior Technical School to Stanfield County Technical School. I can identify some of the lads in the photos but how many are still alive I cannot say but I do know that Terry Brookes is deceased as Eddie, Terry & I were apprentices at ROF Swynnerton & I kept in irregular touch. As Eddie & I have just passed 80 I am not holding my breath as to how many of the class are still around but it would be interesting to know if anyone recognises themselves in the photos."

Raymond Dean (1951-54) says
I remember at 5th form level, when we took GCE exams, there were two classes, Upper 5th & Lower 5th, but because of the lack of bench space for the practical exams a decision was made that Upper 5th would take GCE Metalwork & Lower 5th would take GCE Woodwork."
